Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker Anime Film Launching This Spring (video)


BioWare and FUNimation has today released a new trailer for its upcoming Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker anime film which it hopes to launch later this year, in the spring.
Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker will be the first feature-length, animated addition to the Dragon Age world. BioWare and FUNimation has also setup a new website to promote the new animated film which will be launched on both DVD and Blu-ray. Watch a production update in the video after the jump.
Dragon Age Dawn of the Seeker
Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker, takes place in the land of Orlais, where battles are fought with swords and magic, a young heroine rises as templars, mages, and dragons clash. Cassandra, a brash and beautiful Seeker, must stop a conspiracy that threatens the realm’s most powerful religious order, the Chantry of Andraste. FUNimation reveals:
“2012 is the Year of the Dragon, which is perfect timing for the release of Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker. To kick things off, we’re unveiling our brand new website and a behind-the-scenes Production Update video.
