We have already seen a couple of new compact camera from Panasonic today, and now we have another new one, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX80, which comes with a bright F2.5LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMARIT lens.
According to the announcement, the F2.5 lens is 25 percent brighter than the F2.8 lens, and it offers a faster shutter speed, and is capable of capturing clear blur free images even in low light.
The Panasonic Lumix FX80 comes with 5x optical zoom with a 10x zoom with Panasonic’s Intelligent Zoom function, and it features a 12.1 megapixel Hi-Speed CCD sensor.
Other specifications on the Panasonic Lumix FX80 include a 3 inch Smart Touch Screen, which can be used to set auto-focus and you can also release the shutter from the touchscreen.
The Panasonic FX80 is capable of recording full HD video at 1920 x 1080 in AVCHD/ MP4 format, you can find out more details over at Panasonic, there are no details on pricing or availability as yet.
