Since the launch of the iPhone a number of lenses and lens adapters have been created for Apple’s smartphone to help increase its uses.
Another to add to your gadget list or your iPhone lens case which we featured yesterday. Is the new iPro lens system, which has been created by Schneider Optics, and features a wide angle and fisheye lens.
The new iPro lens system consists of a case which can be used to mount the fisheye or wide-angle lenses and then attach your iPhone to a tripod if required. Schneider Optics has constructed the iPro system using anodised aluminium for the lens housings for durability and the lens are easily removed from the case.
The wide angle lens offers iPhone cameras a 35 percent wider field of view “with minimal distortion and edge-to-edge sharpness”, say Schneider Optics.
The iPro fisheye iPhone lens increases the field of view to a massive 165 degrees, compared to the 86 degrees of the wide angle lens and the 62 degrees of the iPhone’s built-in optics. Providing you with a great set of lenses to add a little more creativity to your smartphone photography.
The Schneider Optics iPro iPhone Lens kit is now available to purchase for $199, and Schneider has also announced a compatible telephoto lens will be arriving in April for around $100 to compliment and expand the iPro system.
