Evernote For Mac Update Brings Revamped Note Interface And More

Evernote has today rolled out a new update 3.0.6 to their Mac application, which brings with it a newly revamped user interface for notes, together with range of enhancements to checklists, tables and more.
The newly designed note panel has been design to save space and provide a much easier to understand interface. Evernote has also added what they are calling “Intelligence” to the header of the notes. Showing both the date the note was created and updated.

Once you start editing a note , the date fades away and becomes the formatting bar. If you want to edit the date, click on the “i.” Another new feature added in this update enables you to now view multiple notes while in full screen mode, by double clicking on as many notes as you would like to view. Evernote explains:
“The goals of the redesign were clarity and simplification. You’ll notice that the new layout is much more space-efficient. For example, we moved information about the note into the “i” button. We also made note sharing options much more prominent with the new, big share arrow.”
The update is now available as an automatic download front the Mac App Store.
