Nintendo Wii U Console Hits US, Europe, Japan And Australia By End Of 2012


Nintendo has announced that their next generation Wii console, the Wii U will be available in the US, Europe, Japan and Australia before the end of 2012, so we can expect the device available for the holiday shopping season.
The news came from Nintendo President Satuoru Iwata, and this is the first time that Nintendo has confirmed that the Wii U will be available in 2012.

We don’t as yet have the full specifications from Nintendo on the Wii U, but we do know that the device will come with a touchscreen controller with a 6.2 inch touchscreen display, and the console will support full HD video in 1080p.
Processing will be provided by an IBM Power based multi-core processor and it will also feature an AMD Radeon based high definition graphics processor.
As soon as we get full specifications on the new Wii U console as well as the exact launch date and pricing we will let you guys know.
