Alesis MIDI Keyboard Controllers Rolled Out

While many accessory makers focus more on the iPad, the company Alesis has opted to be more varied, making new music  keyboard controllers that you can plug via USB directly to your PC or Mac.  It can also be used on iOS devices but a USB adapter is necessary to make it work.
Alesis unveiled the Q61, QX61 and QX25 USB MIDI keyboard controllers at the 2012 NAMM Show in California. Some of the features of the keyboard include knobs for drumbeats, filter knobs and volume adjustments, great for musicians who want to directly incorporate their work on their personal computers. Those with iOS devices could also bring their work with them.
The three variants displayed by Alesis cater to different crowds, with the Q61 offering the simplest configuration, the QX61 for a more featured set and the QX61 a more compact version. With its flexibility and features, Alesis’ latest USB keyboards will surely be a good option for musicians.
The QX25, being the most basic, retails for $99, while the Q61 will cost $149, and  the QX61 at $199.
