Akai Unveils MPC Fly iPad 2 Portable Mixer Case (video)


Akai Professional have unveiled their new Akai MPC which has been designed to merge, Akai Professional’s technology with the power of Apple’s iPad 2. The new Akai MPC is equipped with a multifunctional, double-hinged design which provides the flexibility to produce tracks also anywhere. While also providing your iPad 2 with a protective case. The Akai MPC is equipped with the ability to sequence four tracks simultaneously: four-track mixer built in, and includes its own built in sound library of samples and drum kits. As well as 16-Levels mode: play one sample at 16 levels of attack, velocity, length, and tuning. It also has 16 backlit genuine MPC pads with MPC Note Repeat & MPC Swing.
The Akai MPC also supports WIST, Wireless Sync Start protocol from Korg. But unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet.
