The Samsung Galaxy Note has been available in Europe for the last few months, the device was recently announced for AT&T in the US, and it is expected to be available within the next couple of weeks.
According to a recent report by the Examiner, the Samsung Galaxy Note is also headed to Verizon Wireless and Sprint in the US and the device will be called the Samsung Galaxy Journal on those networks.
So we presume the Galaxy Journal on Verizon will come with 4G LTE, we wonder if the other specifications will remain the same or whether we will see some upgraded specifications for both Verizon and Sprint.
The Samsung Galaxy Note is described by Samsung as a combination of a smartphone and a tablet, it features a massive 5.3 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, which has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Processing on the Galaxy Note is provided by a dual core 1.4GHz processor, and it features Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and the device also feature front and rear facing cameras.
On the back of the Samsung Galaxy Note there is a 8 megapixel camera with an LED flash, up front there is a 2 megapixel camera for video chat, and it is expected to be available with the other carriers before the end of quarter two 2012.
