Verizon Software Updates For Five Droid Devices Announced


Verizon Wireless has announced that it will be releasing a range of software updates for five of its Droid devices which include smartphones and tablets, and the updates are designed to fix a number of bugs and also provide battery improvements.
The updates will be available for the Droid Bionic, the Droid Xyboard 10.1 and 8.2, the Droid RAZR Maxx and the original Droid RAZR, with some of the updates being released immediately.
Droid RAZR Maxx
Verizon Wireless will soon start pushing a software update for the DROID XYBOARD 10.1 and XYBOARD 8.2 tablets. The update will enhance browser performance, touch response and prepare the XYBOARD for global roaming. The global roaming feature will be added in a two step process. This software update will add the global support to the hardware and a second over the air update will be pushed soon after to update the SIM card and make the tablet Global Ready.
