PS Vita Digital Games Will Cost Less Than Retail Versions Confirms Sony

Sony has unveiled this week that their new PS Vita games will be priced cheaper than the retail versions. Sony has revealed that any digital games purchased in the US or Japan PlayStation Stores to be downloaded, will come with a 10% discount over their retail versions. Showing that Sony has learnt their lesson with the PSP Go and that retailers are still not 100 percent ready to swap to digital games just yet.

The Best Buy listings were spotted by a NeoGAF user, with each game being offered at 10 per cent off the normal RRP. A Sony representative told ShackNews
“I can confirm that there will be a discount on the downloadable PS Vita titles from PSN. Exact details have not yet been revealed, but be on the lookout for an announcement in the very near future,”
With an aim not to ignore game retailers, gamers will also receive the 10% discount if they purchase the game codes from a retail store. Sony hasn’t  revealed as yet whether the new discounts will be made available in Europe, but lets hope so. When more information about their new game prices is revealed we will as alway keep you updated.
