Creative have unveiled a pair of new additions to their range of headphones this week in the form of the new HN-900, Aurvana X-Fi 2 noise-cancelling headphones, both equipped with 40mm Neodymium magnet drivers.
The top of the range Aurvana X-Fi 2 noise-cancelling headphones are priced at $199 an are aimed at customers that might be considering Bose’s range of noise-cancelling headphones, which are priced at nearly double the price.
The Creative Aurvana X-Fi 2 headphones have been designed to bring virtual sounds technology to their wearer using Creative’s X-Fi CMSS-3D technology which has been built into the headphones. Together with other features such as X-Fi Crystalizer and X-Fi CMSS-3D, with controls on the headphones that allows you to tweak both as your wearing them. Providing 9 hours of usage on a single AAA battery.
If you budget doesn’t quite stretch to the cost of the Creative Aurvana X-Fi 2 headphones, Creative has also rolled out a cheaper version priced at just $99 called the HN-900. The HN-900 also feature active noise-cancellation, and can provide unto 40 hours worth of usage from a single AAA. They also comes equipped with a handy integrated microphone that you can use to make calls with on your smartphone if required.
