Linksys has this week unveiled a new addition to their range in the form of the HomePlugPowerline adapters, which have been designed to provide up to 200Mbps network connections, and perfect for consoles.
The new products include the Linksys AV 1-Port (PLEK400) and AV 4-Port (PLSK400) which are equipped with one or four 10/100 sockets respectively. The AV 1-Port (PLEK400) and AV 4-Port (PLSK400) will be priced at $99.99 and $119.99 respectively.
So if you have the need to extend your wired or wireless network the new additions to the Linksys range will help you, without the need to drill any holes in your walls. Simply plug one in next to your router and plug the other near your gaming console, computer or device to provide a wired network connection.
Linksys has also announced today that a Wireless bridge will also be joining the range, and will be launched later this quarter. Joining the two mentioned Powerline adapters will be the PLW400 Powerline AV 1-Port Wireless Extender, which his expected to arrive in March for around $120.
