Kindle Touch Update 5.0.3 Rolled Out By Amazon

Amazon has today started rolling out a new update for their new Kindle Touch device, version 5.0.3. Amazon is automatically rolling out over WiFi over the next few weeks, but if you just can’t wait the new update is also available to download for free and install manually.
The new Kindle Touch 5.0.3 update brings with it a number of general software improvements for Amazons, eReader device. It also appears to improve the performance and speed of both the navigation and the turning of pages on the device. Which have been a little sluggish since its launch.

The new update follows on from the recently released Kindle Fire 6.2.2 update that brought with it new full screen browsing features, but unfortunately locked down root access to users. Full instruction on how to manually download the new Kindle Touch 5.0.3  update are available over on the Amazon help page announcing the new update here.
